STRUT BRACES

NOW AVAILABLE, EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE RENAULT MEGANE: REAR STRUT BRACE

So you've seen the Nurburgring record breaking Megane R26.R, a brilliant looking, fast piece of kit. Most come fitted with a rollcage out of the factory, but you could opt in to have just a lone rear strut brace to which Renault attach the compulsory harnesses for the bucket seats of the R26.R.

We've a similar to the rear of our 259BHP Megane 225. It's much lighter than the one used by Renault, and is a great addition to any track Megane if you don't want to install a full rollcage. It's fine to attach harnesses to these bars, as it fixes to the inner wings and not the top of the rear struts. We've got the Sabelt Four Point harnesses on our Megane. It looks the part and is going to be joined by a full rollcage soon. The photos below show an un-powdercoated example.

These items are very hard to get hold of for a Megane, especially of this quality and low weight.

Grab one whilst they're affordable.

To fit these in a Megane the rear seats must be removed and holes must be drilled into the rear boot trim carpet. This is included in the fitting fee and takes us under an hour to fit in our workshop.
