K&N 33 series/57 series air filters
Upgrading the air induction system on a car is one of the most popular upgrades in the tuning world. A panel filter (33 series) simply replaces the standard manufacturer air filter in your airbox. A cone filter (57 series) generally replaces the airbox altogether with a cone or cylindrical shaped filter made from material which allows the engine to breathe in air much more freely and efficiently. By putting a high performance air filter in your car you should notice a small performance increase as well as a smoother sounding engine. If you use a cold air feed and/or an enclosed heat shield for your cone filter, you'll get a nice throaty induction roar under acceleration.
We have tried KTEC and Pipercross air filters, but we generally feel that K&N produce the best performing air filters for the money.
Panel filters range from around £20 upwards, and cone filters are generally anywhere above £60. Contact us for our price to supply and fit a K&N air filter to your car. This is also included in the Performance tuning package, alongside performance exhausts and a remap. Please note that we're happy to supply and fit any other known brand of air filter too! We are able to supply the filters at a very competitive price. Please use the table below as a rough guide for French car applications. Note that the price stated does not include fitting, which is likely to take around two hours per car depending on application and product. Price includes trade delivery to our workshop so you won't incur any more fees!
