Below are a few of our own project cars which we are currently testing products on. We test everything on the open road and on track, as well as on the rolling road.
CMC CITROEN SAXO
Mintex fast road grooved/drilled brake set-up, OMP strut brace, uprated Powerflex/engine mounts, Eibach suspension, K&N 57 series air filter with CMC airbox and CAF, 8000k Xenon headlight conversion, heatwrapped manifold, Supersprint (decat) exhaust system, Corbeau bucket seats, Sparco harnesses, CMC rear bar, LUKE tow strap, fire extinguishers, OMP steering wheel, motorsport rad-fan/switch function, custom doorcards, stripped interior.
Lightweight car (around 750kg) pushing reasonable power levels has shown to be a great handling track weapon with a healthy power to weight ratio. Future plans: More power, more carbon fibre interior parts and a 6-point rollcage.
CMC RENAULTSPORT MEGANE 2.0T
Our very own R26.R Hunter: Fully stripped rear interior, remapped ECU, K&N 33 series panel filter, custom CMC decat 2.75" exhaust system with Astra VXR exit, CMC front mounted intercooler, Forge dump valve, R26.R rear spoiler, 18" RenaultSport lightweight Cup wheels, Powervamp lightweight race battery, CMC-spec power cut-off, fire extinguisher, custom centre console with ESP off switch, rear window tints, carbon fibre bucket seats, Sabelt 4 point harnesses, CMC rear bar, RS 197 rear aero diffuser, Xenon headlights.
Lightened overall weight alongside strong power modifications makes for a very quick turbocharged FWD car. Future plans: More ECU tuning, uprated 650cc fuel injectors, more carbon fibre interior and exterior parts, rollcage, R26.R wheels & fast road/track tyres.
CMC RENAULTSPORT CLIO 172
Phase 2 Clio 172 - 2.0 16v F4R engine. This 172 is in the process of being prepared by CMC into a track/racecar.
Plans include: uprated suspension, tyres, wheels, rollcage, carbon fibre bucket seats, harnesses, steering wheel, rollcage, fire extinguishers, rear mounted battery & cut-off, motorsport rad-fan switch set-up, interior delete package, Grp.N decat exhaust system, air filter, overrun remap and more...

CMC PEUGEOT 106 XSI
Cobra Imola bucket seats, Willans harnesses, fully stripped interior, suede finished doorcards, dished motorsport suede steering wheel & custom machined boss, Pipercross induction system, heatwrapped 4-2-1 exhaust manifold & custom exhaust system, Bilstein suspension, Powerflex polybushes front & rear, Powerflex lower engine mount, fuel boost valve, motorsport rad-fan/switch set-up, 1.9 GTI alloy wheels, Toyo T1R tyres, Rallye front bumper, Cibie fog lamps, rear mounted battery, CMC-spec power cut off & volt meter.
Strong, powerful low mileage 1600 engine in a very lightweight classic S1 XSI shell is quick and handles in an impressive manner. Plans: Less weight!
CMC VAUXHALL CORSA VXR NURBURGRING 1.6T
The latest addition to the CMC fleet is this 2011 Corsa VXR Nurburgring Edition. Running the normal 1600cc turbocharged engine, this VXR has been fitted with Bilstein suspension, Brembo four piston brakes, an LSD, a CMC designed exhaust centre section and revised mapping. Rolling road runs have shown peak power/torque figures of 214bhp & 219 ft/lb on Shell V-Power on this car!
Awesome new car with extensive Nurburgring testing and fantastic handling holds brilliant tuning potential. The future: CMC backbox (silencer delete), CMC FMIC & K&N air filter upgrades.
